ABOUT ME
Hello, my names is Jennifer Rivas, but some call me Jen or Yeni. My pronouns are she/her/hers.

I chose teaching as a career because I truly believe children are the future and I would like to contribute to a better tomorrow. I also fell in love with teaching when I was a tutor at RCC.
BACKGROUND
My mom was born in Guatemala and my dad was born in El Salvador. I have visited both countries and they are absolutely gorgeous! They then migrated to the US, where I born in Orange County. After a couple years, we moved to Riverside and I have lived here ever since.
GEO 4
I have loved being in nature my entire life. Whether my father took us to the ocean, jungle, forest, desert, or snow, I enjoyed being there. I'm excited to learn how to appreciate nature in a different way. I believe I will learn this in this class and also how to better take care of our Earth! Something that worries me is the amount of work we have in this class.
I am going to tell you a little bit about myself and what I enjoy. Hopefully you will get to know me a little better! P.S. I am a Ravenclaw.
