About Us

My name is Scott Gentry. I was born and raised in the Chattanooga area and am a McCallie alum. I’m the son of a structural steel fabrication shop owner. As a late teen, I worked on Hamilton Place Mall - grinding welds or punching a couple of holes in a couple of thousand steel plates. Later, 15 years as a Realtor lead to my having great partnerships with just about every trade in the residential construction industry. Over time, many clients asked me to help with various projects. After passing projects on to my partners for years, I decided to change careers. I knew how to read blueprints and a tape measure from my years at Gentry Steel. With a little help from my friends, I transferred my knowledge from welding machines and acetylene torches to compound miter saws and a nail gun. I’m proudest of the fact that I’ve done multiple projects for multiple clients and most of my business comes from referrals - even from some of my old Realtor friends.
