Since I was a little kid, I have absolutely adored animals. I used to pretend that I was one of the Wild Kratts that could turn into amazing creatures and I would dream of the day when I could have as many cats and dogs as I wanted. I grew up with various fish, a handful of cats, and a deep love for any dog I met. Now, I have three rabbits, a potbelly pig, three chickens, and two silly cats.

As soon as I was able to, I signed up to be a pet sitter with Rover, and not too long after I got a job at a wonderful doggy daycare. I learned so much working at the daycare, how to administer medications, how to care for dogs and cats of all ages, and I even tried my hand at basic leash training. Through Rover I gained great experience with caring for animals in people's own homes. Additionally, caring for my in-laws goats, chickens, and ducks helped me learn how to handle small farm animals.
