Gennaro Brosco

Hello!

I am a PhD student in Economics at the University of Naples Federico II, where I am supervised by Professors Marco Pagano and Giovanni W. Puopolo. 

During 2025-2026, I visited the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, under the supervision of Professor Martin C. Schmalz.

Before starting my PhD, I completed an MSc in Economics and Finance at the University of Naples Federico II.

My research interests center on how corporate ownership structure shapes, and is shaped by, real economic outcomes, with a focus on corporate governance and competition.
