PRESTIGE

The first edition of PRESTIGE — Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision for eHeritage and Digital Humanities was held in conjunction with ICPR 2026 in Lyon.

PRESTIGE was born from the fusion of the FAPER and PatReCH workshop series, with the aim of bringing together a broader community working at the intersection of pattern recognition, computer vision, cultural heritage, and digital humanities.

FAPER Workshop Series

I co-organized four editions of the International Workshop on Fine Art Pattern Extraction and Recognition (FAPER):

• FAPER 2021 @ ICIAP 2021

• FAPER 2020 @ ICPR 2020

The workshop series focused on computational methods for the analysis, understanding, and valorization of visual art.

Reviewing and Program Committees

I served as an Area Chair for NeurIPS 2026.

I regularly serve as a reviewer and Program Committee member for international conferences in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and pattern recognition. Selected conferences include AAAI, CVPR, ECCV, ACL, ECML PKDD, ECAI, WACV, ICPR, CBMS, and IJCNN.

I also regularly review for international journals including Nature, International Journal of Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Remote Sensing of Environment, IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Information Sciences, Knowledge-Based Systems, and Machine Learning.
