Genius Hour is an opportunity for your students to pursue their passions. They can learn so much by exploring their interests and making connections to what they've learned in class. In order to document the learning, I've included the Genius Hour Slides for them to use.
It is also a good idea to use Flipgrid as your students move through the process. Below is a blog post that explains exactly how to set this up so that they know what to do on each topic as they work.
This is definitely something that you can facilitate remotely. You might assign a step each week until you reach project and then encourage learners to work independently until they are finished or you can allow them to move through the entire process at their own pace.
