I am Genia Lukin, a current 4th year PhD student in Harvard University's Department of Psychology. I specialize in language acquisition in young infants, with a special focus on infants with sensory impairments. I want to know how infants get from a limited perception of the world - visual or auditory - to conceptual and linguistic representations that are more often than not indistinguishable from those of typically developing children. My current position includes corpus research and experimental research with infants.
I hold a Master's degree in psycholinguistics (with distinction) from Tel Aviv University, and a Master's degree in theoretical linguistics (with distinction) from Boston University.
