Genesis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women returning from incarceration by providing the essential resources and support needed to successfully reintegrate into society and rebuild their lives.
There is a shortage of transitional housing for women being released from prison. Because women are a vulnerable population, the city shelters are not always the safest choice. Genesis aims to fill this need.
