The Generic Wargaming System (GWS) is a flexible tabletop wargaming ecosystem for exploring military operations from World War II to the near future.
Modern warfare is not simply about having the most powerful weapons. It is about finding the enemy, identifying the threat, acquiring a target, engaging effectively, and assessing the results.
Find → Identify → Target → Engage → Assess
This sequence, known as the Kill Chain, lies at the heart of the Generic Wargaming System. Superior weapons alone do not guarantee victory. Success depends on how effectively a force completes its Kill Chain while disrupting that of its opponent.
GWS brings these principles to the tabletop, allowing players to explore how information, technology, manoeuvre and command decisions interact on the modern battlefield.
