Careprost Eye Drop: An effective solution for eye care and eyelash growth
Careprost Eye Drop: An effective solution for eye care and eyelash growth
Adults with glaucoma and excessive eye pressure can use careprost eye drops to lower their eye pressure. An excessive amount of ocular pressure might harm your vision and perhaps cause blindness. It functions by facilitating the passage of fluid into the circulation from within the eye.
Both adults and children can use careprost eye drop to lower eye pressure. They can be used either by itself or in conjunction with other eye treatments. To obtain the best benefit, take this medication as prescribed by your doctor and on a regular basis.
Your vision may suffer if you stop using it because the eye pressure may rise. If you have bought the bottle of drops for the first time, check carefully whether the seal is broken or not, if it is found broken then do not use it at all. If you wear contact lenses then be careful while removing them and wait at least ten to fifteen minutes before putting them back in.
You should not take careprost eye drop if you are allergic to this drop. If you have any other problem in your eyes and you want to take some other medicine to get rid of that problem then you will have to consult a doctor immediately. Especially for ladies, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding your baby then you should consult a doctor immediately.
· Intraocular hypertension
· Open angle Glaucoma
The active ingredient of careprost drops, bimatoprost, reduces intraocular pressure by increasing the clearance of fluid within the eye. It also increases the growth phase of eyelashes, resulting in thicker and longer eyelashes.
To promote eyelash hair growth, apply one drop to the root of the upper eyelid using a sterile applicator after washing your face and removing contact lenses at night. Application to the lower eyelid is not recommended. Use a fresh cloth to wipe off excess fluid.
For eyes once a day, in the evening, apply one drop to the affected eye. Make sure the tip of the dropper does not come into contact with anything and wash your hands thoroughly before using it.
Precautions:
Potential adverse effects include eye redness, dryness, itching, darkening of the skin around the eyelids, darkening of the iris, swelling of the eyelids, blurred vision, etc., as the preservative in careprost may be absorbed by the lenses.
Therefore, contact lens wearers should remove the lenses before use and put them back in at least ten to fifteen minutes later. If you experience any serious side effects such as eye pain or changes in vision, stop using the product immediately and consult a doctor.
