The Midlands Gene Regulation and Nuclear Function Symposium (GRNF) will bring together leaders and emerging scientists from across the Midlands and the United Kingdom to showcase the latest research in the field of gene regulation. This inter-disciplinary meeting will feature insights into epigenetic control mechanisms, chromatin remodelling and dynamics, and emerging genomic technologies that are transforming our understanding of genome functions in development, health, and disease
By bringing together the scientific communities from different universities from across the Midlands, this symposium aims to foster a deep scientific exchange that will create a stimulating and inclusive environment to explore fundamental questions in the field and to catalyse new collaborations that will push the frontiers of genome biology
We are excited to welcome the next generation of leaders in genome research to join, share ideas, and build new collaborations during this meeting. Reflecting this aim, this year’s symposium is organised by postdocs and PhD students, with sessions specifically designed to encourage discussion, networking, and meaningful interactions across career stages and disciplines. Please help us spread the word, and we warmly encourage colleagues and trainees to participate
