About Me

Sujin Lee is an assistant professor  at the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Sejong University.

Her research currently focuses on an interdisciplinary project between art and artificial intelligence, aiming to create new images via computing, specifically computer vision and machine learning algorithms. Similar to a pencil or paintbrush, Sujin believes that computers are our tools. She believes we can use them as an extension of ourselves in order to expand on our creativity and push the boundaries of art. Sujin aspires to sophisticate AI to the point at which we can complete complex, abstract, and creative tasks. Her studies capitalize on the vital collaboration between humans and machines.
