Gemly for Gemini ("Gemly", "the extension", "we") is a browser extension that helps you organize, search, and export your conversations on gemini.google.com. We respect your privacy. Gemly works locally in your browser, and we do not run servers that collect your data.
Website content (your Gemini conversations). To provide search, folders, bookmarks, token counters, and export, the extension reads the conversation text displayed on gemini.google.com. This content is processed in your browser and stored only on your device (in the extension's local storage and IndexedDB database). It is never sent to us or to any third party.
User settings and saved items. Folders, bookmarks, highlights, saved prompts, tone/persona settings, interface preferences, and trial/license status are saved locally on your device using Chrome's storage.
License key. If you purchase a license, the key you enter is sent to Gumroad (api.gumroad.com) solely to verify that it is valid. Only the license key and our product ID are sent. No conversation content or other personal data is included. Gumroad's handling of this information is governed by Gumroad's own privacy policy.
We do not collect, store, or receive your name, email address, browsing history, location, analytics, or usage tracking data. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies in the extension. We do not collect your conversations.
Locally stored data is used only to provide the features you choose to use: searching chats, organizing them into folders, saving bookmarks and prompts, and exporting conversations to PDF or JSON. Exported files are created on your device and saved wherever you choose.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use or transfer your data for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose, or to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
storage: saves your folders, bookmarks, prompts, settings, and license status locally.
scripting: loads the bundled PDF export libraries into the Gemini page when you export to PDF.
Access to gemini.google.com: needed so the extension can read and enhance the Gemini interface.
Access to api.gumroad.com: used only to verify license keys.
The extension does not load or run remote code. All code is bundled in the extension package.
All data stays on your device until you delete it. You can remove saved chats, folders, and settings from within the extension, or remove all extension data by uninstalling Gemly or clearing the extension's site data in Chrome.
Because your data stays in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers, it is protected by your device and browser security. The only network request the extension makes is the encrypted (HTTPS) license check to Gumroad.
Gemly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes, and significant changes will be noted in the extension's release notes.
Gemly is an independent extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. "Gemini" is a trademark of Google LLC.
