Launch the Tool: Click the extension icon in the top-right of your browser.
Import Images:
You can click the dashed box to select files manually.
Click "Open in New Tab (Fix Drag & Drop)". In the full-page view, you can highlight multiple images from your computer and drag them all in simultaneously for a smoother experience.
Preview Results: Once processed, click any image to zoom in and compare the "Original" and "Restored" versions.
Download: Click "Download All Images" to save the results to your default download folder. Files will be prefixed with test_ for easy identification.

When should I use the fine-tuning options?
If you notice that the watermark hasn't completely disappeared after processing—leaving a gray shadow, artifact, or faint box behind—this usually happens because the image was saved using "Right-Click ➔ Save Image As..." from your browser. Images saved this way are often low-resolution preview thumbnails rather than the high-quality original file. Their scaling ratios can be arbitrary (e.g., resized to 43% or 27%), which prevents the default "remover eraser" from accurately matching the size and position of the actual watermark.
Enable "Targeting Mode" Check the box for "🎯 Enable Targeting Mode." Once turned on, the hidden eraser responsible for removing the watermark will light up as a high-visibility magenta star, allowing you to visually track the alignment in real-time.
Step 1: Adjust "Scale Offset" (Size) Observe the size difference between the magenta star and the original white watermark. Click the ◀ and ▶ arrows next to Scale Offset (or directly enter a value, such as -5 to shrink it by 5%) until the magenta star perfectly matches the size of the actual watermark.
Step 2: Adjust "X / Y Offsets" (Position) Once the size matches, use the up, down, left, and right offset arrows (or input the numbers directly) to move the magenta star. Slide it until it sits directly on top of the original watermark, overlapping perfectly.
Verify the Result After confirming that the magenta star completely covers the white watermark (and making sure they are identical in size), uncheck "Targeting Mode" to check if the watermark has been successfully removed.
Quick Tips:
Click the "Reset Values" button at any time to clear your fine-tuning data and start fresh.
You can't perfectly eliminate artifacts in a destructively compressed thumbnail just by tweaking the zoom scale. At best, it'll look okay from a distance and fade out the most eye-catching white star artifacts.
To save time, always use the platform's native "Download" button at the top-right corner of the generated image to get the full-resolution file. This allows the extension to automatically remove the watermark flawlessly without any manual adjustment!
Downloading the original size yields better quality and avoids watermark removal issues.
Simply saving the image results in lower resolution, making it harder to remove watermarks.

A: This is a built-in security behavior of Chrome. When you drag a file from your system, the popup loses focus and closes automatically. To fix this, click "Open in New Tab" within the extension to use the tool in a stable, full-page environment.

A: This tool calculates the restoration based on the "Original" Gemini output coordinates and transparency. If your image has been cropped, resized, or heavily compressed before uploading, the pixels may not align perfectly with the algorithm. Always use the original file downloaded directly from Gemini.
If the position of the watermark changes (similar to a black and a white watermark), please use the offset adjustment tool to make the two watermarks overlap.
