We are an organization founded by Niurka Leiva and Mei ling Martinez, two women committed to generating a positive impact on our society. At Gemini 1, we believe in the power of collective work and the importance of addressing multiple social problems to build a more equitable and sustainable world.

What do we do? We seek to generate a tangible impact in our community and beyond. From educational programs to awareness campaigns, environmental conservation projects and actions to combat poverty, we strive to make the world a better place for everyone.

FOUNDERS

Mei Ling Martínez

Hello! I am a 17-year-old teenager passionate about physics and astronomy from San Juan de Miraflores, Lima. I have participated in multiple projects that have allowed me to appreciate the importance of education and the STEAM areas, and to realize how both must come together to generate a real change in our society. Through making my own initiatives a reality, I hope to contribute to generate a positive change in our world.

Niurka Leiva

I am a 17-year-old Peruvian girl from Puente Piedra, Lima. Despite facing family challenges, I have excelled in areas such as science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM). My projects such as Gea Ocllo, a robotic recycling dog, reflect my dedication to innovation and sustainability. I aspire to be a doctor and an astronaut to create a global impact and continue to be an inspiration to others.
