Charlie the Steak was a 2013 iOS game released by Prague-based development company DynamicDust. Charlie the Steak is a stress reliever game that involves beating a steak, and it includes 2 mini games and neat screen capturing tools!
Charlie is a steak with human eyes and mouth, the player can beat Charlie with a hammer, season his eyes, and more! Mini games include high score-based mechanics, such as a whack-a-mole type game when the player throws knives at the mini Charlies or the racing game where the player turns a mini Charlie to dodge the obstacles in the kitchen counter floor!
Charlie the Steak was 32-bit ARM application for iOS, which was the reason why it got delisted later on. During iOS 11's release, Apple purged all 32-bit applications from the App Store which may have been a reason why Charlie didn't make it on the App Store today.
Rumors were spread saying that the game was delisted due to graphic imagery, (e.g. the eye gouging animation, tounge yanking, etc.) but these were never confirmed, and DynamicDust's domain had not be renewed in 2021. [view]
While DynamicDust did not make it past the pandemic, Charlie's developer has and is seemingly making a game from scratch with the help from Patreon supporters.
...there is various.
Reminder: As stated earlier, Charlie the Steak is coming back from the author on Patreon.
