I do pay for video games, if I have the money in card form and if it isn't something I know I can't get for free in fully working order. 

For example, I have bought Minecraft because why not, and if I choose to get a pirated version, I won't be able to join most servers. Meanwhile, Viva Pinata isn't gonna be any different when I get it from MyAbandonware.

I use the common sense I've got while browsing the internet, and my PC has never got a virus somehow! Must be magic.
