Bulgaria – Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research, BAS, Sofia, Bulgaria (14-20 September 2014) - Monitoring of Lasius neglectus in the city of Sofia and location of red wood ants in field in collaboration with Dr. hab. Vera Antonova.
France – Laboratory of Experimental and Comparative Ethology at Sorbonne Paris Nord, Paris (20-25 February 2025) – Training for the analyses of Cuticular Hydrocarbons profiles under the direction of Prof. Patrizia d’Ettorre.
Germany – Department of Zoology and Evolutionary Biology, Regensburg University, Regensburg (29 June-7 July 2021) and Berlin (20-28 July 2022). Field work for the performance of the project funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA - PPN/BDE/2020/1/00016) in collaboration with Prof. Juergen Heinze.
Romania – Hungarian Department of Biology and Ecology, Cluj-Napoca; Babeq-Bolyai University, International project in the framework of cooperation between Polish and Romanian Academies of Sciences in collaboration with Prof. Balint Markó, (21-30 November 2014, 28 July – 6 August 2015, 15-21 September 2023 and 6-13 September 2024). Field work, drafting of manuscript, data analyses, seminars and conferences.
Spain – Seville: Estación Biológica de Doñana – CSIC, Department of Conservation Biology and Global Change (October 2020 - May 2021) - Field work, taxonomical identification of ant specimens from pitfall traps, data analyses, drafting manuscript under the supervision of Dr. Xim Cerdá and in collaboration with Dr. Elena Angulo; Granada: Department of Zoology, University of Granada (3-14 March 2025) – Field work, laboratory experiments and co-supervision of Master´s thesis in collaboration with Prof. Francisca Ruano Díaz; Cordoba: University of Cordoba (February 2026) – Lecturer under the figure of "Honorary Collaborator" at Department of Botany, Ecology and Plant Physiology at the Faculty of Sciences.
Teaching experience
Since I started working in MiIZ PAS, I have been the tutor for 13 students from different universities and countries.
2018 - Co-supervisor for Bachelor’s thesis of Iga Wojciechowska, from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW), Faculty of Biology and Environmental Sciences in Warsaw. Title: "Interakcje pomiędzy inwazyjną mrówką Lasius neglectus i terytorialną mrówką Lasius niger” [Interaction between invasive garden ants Lasius neglectus and native garden ants Lasius niger]; the degree obtained in 2019.
