What time will the doors open?
Doors will open at 11:00 pm. You must be in the building by Midnight. You will enter the south doors. There will be a breathalyzer station.
Can we leave the event early?
You may only leave with an adult who picks you up from the front door and you may not return once you leave. You must also have parent permission. To obtain parent permission a student must report to the office where a GEHS staff member will call the parent and get a verbal permission.
Can we bring outside dates? What is the process?
You may bring outside dates. They will need to buy a ticket and you will enter their information in GoFan. Please make sure they mark the Gretna East Junior/Senior on their form to make sure we know who their date will be.
Where can we purchase tickets?
The tickets can be purchased on GoFan similar to Prom Tickets. They are $25 each. If you purchase on GoFan you will be charged a $2.75 fee. You can also purchase tickets from the office or Mrs. Modrell (room 164). If you pay by cash or check you will not have to pay the fee and you will receive an electronic ticket at a later date.
Can I bring a bag or keys with me? Is there a place to store them at the school?
You may bring a bag or keys. We will have a room or space that you will be designated to drop off your personal items. We will put a tag on them or put them in a bag to collect at the end of the evening(or when you leave).
What kind of prizes will there be?
Every Junior and Senior Gretna East student will receive a $25 gift card for attending. At the end of the evening there will also be various prizes. Some of the prizes include TVs, gaming chairs, airpods, beats, apple pencil, cash prizes. There will be more.
What kind of activities will be in the commons and gym?
Viva Las Vegas! This Vegas themed Post Prom will be a BLAST! We are transforming the school into the Las Vegas Strip including a casino, a silent disco, carnival games, inflatables, hypnotist, and many more activities.
What kind of food?
There will be a variety of snacks and drinks including Raising Canes, Chick-Fil-A, popcorn bar, donuts, pizza, smoothies, dirty soda bar.
What should by attire be the night of the event?
Wear something comfy. You will be having fun and playing all night. Pajamas are always a great option! School dress code still applies.
