GEG West Tokyo hosts a variety of events such as Yoyogi Park Google Cardboard Play Day, Online Study Groups, Google for Education workshops, a teachers-teaching-teachers event called Innovate The Classroom, and our regular Pub Night Demo Slams.
GEG West Tokyo Demo Slam & Pub Nights
GEG West Tokyo hosts pub nights are semi-regular events where educators in the Tokyo-Kanto area come together to share practical technology tips and tricks for your classroom in the demo slam style. Each event begins with two or three short presentations on technology in education. Usually held on a Thursday, educators from all types of schools and school divisions enjoy dinner, drinks, conversation and sharing. A wonderful way to close the week, build your professional learning network, and make spend time with friends in education. All are welcome, including non-GEG members and non-teaching individuals.
Pub nights are held at the Hobgoblin pub, Shibuya branch. Always 5:30-7:30PM. Check out our the events tab on this website, or our Events tab on our Google+ community page, for the next GEG West Tokyo Demo Slam & Pub Night!
