Gegee Skincare AI respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

To analyze your skin photos, power the in-app skincare assistant, and analyze product ingredients, we send the photos and text you submit to Google's Gemini API, operated by Google LLC, which acts as our service provider for AI processing. This data is transmitted securely over HTTPS and is used only to generate the results you request. We do not use your data to train AI models, and it is not used for any purpose other than producing your requested analysis. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's applicable API terms and privacy commitments.
What we collect. When you use the skin analysis feature, the app collects the selfie photo you voluntarily capture or select. We do not collect or generate biometric identifiers, face geometry, faceprints, or any data used to identify or recognize individuals. The photo is used solely for cosmetic skin analysis (e.g., hydration, texture, redness scores).
How it is used. Your photo is transmitted securely over HTTPS to our server, which forwards it to Google's Gemini API (Google LLC) solely to generate your skin analysis result. It is not used for facial recognition, identification, tracking, advertising, or AI model training.
Storage and retention. Our servers do not store your face photos: the photo is processed in memory only and is permanently deleted immediately after the analysis completes. Google processes the photo transiently to produce the result, subject to Google's API terms, and does not use it to train AI models. A downscaled copy of your photo is stored only locally on your own device so you can view your before/after progress; it never leaves your device and is deleted when you delete the scan, delete your account, or uninstall the app.
Sharing. Face photos are shared only with Google LLC (Gemini API) for the sole purpose of generating your requested analysis, as described above. They are never sold or shared with any other party.

We do not share your data with third parties for their own commercial purposes.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Users can request deletion of their Gegee Skincare AI account and personal data by emailing support@gegee.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Our service is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app or on our website.
