Christy is a former high school English teacher and technology coordinator. Currently, she is a technology integration coordinator and a teacher of “D-Lab,” aka all things maker. She is a Certified Google Education Trainer and Google Certified Innovator, Common Sense Media Ambassador, and an instructional technology geek, always on the lookout for new ideas to improve education, enhance digital literacy and digital citizenship curriculum, the maker process, and change the educational framework. She is also the leader of Google Educator Group Central Texas (GEG CENTX). She is a learner, a crafter, an explorer, a change-maker.

Christy has a Master’s degree in English Education & an Education Specialist degree in Technology in Schools.

Kelly Fitzgerald

Kelly is the dean of instruction at Rouse High School in Leander ISD. Prior to this role she was a classroom teacher, elementary math curriculum specialist, K-12 instructional technologist, and instructional coach. In addition, she is the director of curriculum and instruction for Ed Technology Specialists (https://edtechnologyspecialists.com/) and teaches online classes centered around technology integration. She has been a Certified Google Educator Trainer since 2013 and co-leads the Google Educator Group Central Texas (GEG CENTX).

Kelly is an avid traveler and is fascinated by different cultures. Her passion for education and traveling has led her to train educators on instructional best practices in Japan, Germany, and Belgium.
