"Beta Release" Beta drivers are provided by NVIDIA as preview releases for quick bug fixes and access to new features. Beta drivers are under qualification testing, and may include significant issues. It is the end user's responsibility to protect system and data when using Beta drivers with NVIDIA products. It is strongly recommended that end users back up all the data prior to using Beta drivers from this site. Please ensure that newer Recommended/Certified drivers are not already posted on NVIDIA.com prior to installation and usage of Beta drivers. Beta drivers posted do not carry any warranties nor support services.

Yesterday somehow came to me and checked the BIOS and monitor drivers, I will add that I have the same monitor model as you (Aorus FI27Q).

I updated the BIOS because I had a really old version. The monitor drivers were also outdated, I replaced them with the F08 version, I also updated the OSD Sidekick. I must add that the monitor update had to be done on the nvidia 517.48 drivers because all the others caused the problem with the detection of the monitor.

Reporting the same problem here. 3070 TI, same Aorus monitor connected via Display Port. Reverting to the September game ready drivers everything looks fine. Update to something new and it no longer detects the monitor resolution.

Thanks

I can confirm after having the same issue, with a RTX 2060 and 3 monitors FI27Q, updating the firmware from F03 to F08, and then updating the drivers again it were no longer an issue.

For the update to be possible you need to have an USB cable connected and only 1 monitor at the time when updating for it to be working correctly, takes about 5 min to update 1 monitor with new firmware.

I have been noticing a pervasive pattern of driver update problems with the Quadro. At times, no driver is to be found. Currently, it appears that nVidia is just bumping the date, and doing so minor changes that their driver vastly lags behind the Geforce drivers.

Which driver version do you have?. I tested all of them and personally I found that version 474.xx provides the most reliability / performance. These drivers are good enough for rhino Tasks but some rendering applications may complain about unsupported (or old) drivers.

Not changed a thing on XG, even downloaded these drivers, using the same application, several times in the past. For the first time in weeks, I haven't had to mess with anything. This worked just fine before.

Alan, I'm not downloading from a direct link, I use GeForce Experience, which tells you when a driver set is ready for download, then you tell it to download the drivers (or set it to automatically download them), and the domain is the same domain I've always gotten it from.

I checked my log viewer this morning, and I don't have anything identical to downloading drivers, which is about right - it's been over a month since the last driver update for me (Log goes back 30 days). However, there are a lot of other entries with that domain, but different sub-domains that were allowed and categorized as 'Information Technology'.

So trying to figure this out again, I get a notification of another download for drivers. I created a web exception in my Safe Downloading exceptions list which I add a regex entry for ^([A-Za-z0-9.-]*\.)download\.nvidia\.com/ and try again.

About a day ago my NVIDIA GeForce RTX-3060 card in my work laptop stopped working. This resulted in no longer being able to use the HDMI port, The USB-C Thunderbolt was still available though.I found out the laptop switched back to the onboard Intel iRISxe graphics. When I try to see if there are any additional drivers it tells me that there a not additional drivers available, where previously I had a host of choices. Previously I was using the nouveau driver for a month or so since the proprietary Nvidia drivers where giving me a number of problems. And since this is a work laptop used for programming I don't need very much fancy graphics, just be able to use the HDMI.

UpdateI am not using any NVIDIA drivers, or rather I don't know what driver I am using atm, since there are at the moment none available to me. That is the whole problem atm.I was using the noveau driver, since that one gave me less trouble when switching from home office to office screens out of suspend. But the whole problem is that I have the feeling that the laptop switched to the onboard Intel Iris Xe Graphics earlier this week. This prevents me from using the HDMI port, and limits my external screen options to Thunderbolt.

The problem here is the driver for RTX 3060. Initialy I installed nvidia-driver-470 and it installed and select 470. it worked in "join displays" but with a lot of lag in "single display". Then in "sotware & updates->additional drivers" I changed to 535 that worked ok.

Impatience often causes this kind of problem because the system has to compile the new kernel modules for the nvidia drivers after the kernel is updated, and rebooting too soon may cause corruption in that process.

One may recover by doing sudo dnf remove kmod-nvidia-6.3.11* then after that completes run sudo akmods --force to rebuild the modules. Waiting at least 2 minutes after that completes then rebooting should properly load the drivers on the new kernel. (note that I am assuming you installed the drivers from rpmfusion. If installed from another source the process is different.)

In case anyone here has not seen it, Asobo have posted that there are known issues with recent nVidia drivers, which may cause CTDs and stutters. See link to their post below. I have rolled mine back to 531.29.

For me, I always download driver updates manually from the nVidia website, and so have older drivers stored in my downloads folder (unless I have cleaned up and deleted them to save disk space). I can just select one of those saved ones and install it, which will delete the newer driver and re-install the older one. Or you can select an older driver manually from the nVidia website, download it, and install it that way.

I've got Lenovo G580 (20150) and I'm trying to install the geforce graphics card present in the system. I don't know exactly what the gpu model is but it's something akin to Geforce 610M. I've got Windows 8.1 installed and the drivers from Lenovo support page for this laptop don't work (I tried drivers for Win 8.1/8/7). During installation the drivers installer says that it "couldn't find appropriate hardware".

I also tried various drivers from sites like driveridentifier but none worked. I even installed Win 10 and Windows Update found but couldn't install the drivers. I also have Win 8.1 freshly installed. It's definitely not an OS problem. I also don't have recovery dvds/partition...

You need to install linux-lts and linux-lts-headers packages so that nvidia-470xx-dkms package can build the nvidia module for the LTS kernel so that you can boot the LTS kernel and a working graphical session until the drivers have received an update for the 6.4 kernel.

To install AMD drivers on a Linux instance with an attached AMD GPU, such as a G4adinstance, see Install AMD drivers instead. To install NVIDIA drivers on a Windows instance, see Install NVIDIA drivers onWindows instances.

These drivers are intended primarily for compute workloads, which useGPUs for computational tasks such as parallelized floating-pointcalculations for machine learning and fast Fourier transforms for highperformance computing applications.

These drivers are certified to provide optimal performance forprofessional visualization applications that render content such as 3Dmodels or high-resolution videos. You can configure GRID drivers tosupport two modes. Quadro Virtual Workstations provide access to four 4Kdisplays per GPU. GRID vApps provide RDSH App hostingcapabilities.

The options offered by AWS come with the necessary license for the driver.Alternatively, you can install the public drivers and bring your own license. Toinstall a public driver, download it from the NVIDIA site as describedhere.

Alternatively, you can use the options offered by AWS instead of the publicdrivers. To use a GRID driver on a P3 instance, use the AWS Marketplace AMIs as describedin Option 1. To use a GRIDdriver on a G5, G4dn, or G3 instance, use the AWS Marketplace AMIs, as described in Option1 or install the NVIDIA drivers provided by AWS as described in Option 3.

These drivers are available to AWS customers only. By downloading them, youagree to use the downloaded software only to develop AMIs for use with theNVIDIA A10G and NVIDIA Tesla T4 hardware. Upon installation of the software, youare bound by the terms of the NVIDIA GRID Cloud End User License Agreement.

I was having issues with Enscape crashing so was trying to update my drivers to see if that would solve the issue, but then I read about the graphics drivers issue. I instead updated to the studio version on this computer, but it still continues to crash. This is a PC with a GE Force RTX 3080. It continued to act erratically. 17dc91bb1f
