What do we need to be best equipped to join the class?
Although we have to still use Google Suite features for submissions, such as Google Drive and Google Forms, and YouTube for specific video outputs, you will be required to sign up to Discord and join our Classroom Server.
Do we have to follow a specific sign up format?
The answer is NO. You may sign up and join with a random tag or username, and even any customized draft photo or avatar.
We will adapt with the platform's informal and community-oriented environment. This helps foster a sense of belonging and encourages student participation.
Is this free?
Although Discord is an app with an option for a paid version, what we call "Nitro", we can use the app and all necessary features needed for in-class and outside class discussions and hangouts.
