Gramin Digital Saksharta Mission is delivering various Governments of India sponsored skill and education programs, in addition to courses from private sector. Many of them are funded under Government schemes or under Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR funding. Over a period of time the Gramin Digital Saksharta Mission shall become Education Hub for Rural India to provide life-long education and learning. These may cover programs at school level, career level, professional level and self-development level.

Education delivers large, consistent returns in terms of income and is the most important factor to ensure equality of opportunities. For individuals, it promotes employment, earnings, health, and poverty reduction. For societies, it drives long-term economic growth, spurs innovation, strengthens institutions, and fosters social cohesion.

Education is the core hub of Gramin Digital Saksharta Mission. It works in partnership with governments and other organizations/ partners. Support for the use of ICTs in education includes: assistance for equipment and facilities; capacity building; educational content; distance learning; digital literacy and skills development.

The use of ICT in education plays a crucial role in providing new and innovative forms of support to citizens, and the learning process more broadly. Digital India, initiative intends to create awareness on digital devices which would make the life of the citizen easy.

Free computer education: Gramin Digital Saksharta Mission provides Free Computer education to the people who belongs to Lower category/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ Widow and Handicap. This helps them to learn computer without making any fee payment related to course.
