Payment is consolidated to use the "Mi Mobilidad" transit cards, and one way trips on most transit costs MXN $9.50 (~$0.56 USD), you can purchase and top up these cards at train stations throughout the city. Cash payment is also available.
The same card can be used to rent city bikes "Mi Bici", that can be taken and dropped off at stations throughout the city, there's daily, weekly and monthly plans. For doing this, you'll need to activate your mobility card at a kiosk in one of the bike stations to do this (payment by credit card).
