This Privacy Policy explains how Drum Machine ("Drum Machine," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Drum Machine mobile application (the "App").
Drum Machine is a rhythm and playback tool for practicing, listening, and using built-in drum and MIDI-based accompaniment content. Based on the App's current implementation as of June 4, 2026, the App primarily works on-device and does not require account registration.
The App stores certain preferences on your device so that your settings can be remembered between sessions. These local settings may include:
rhythm arrangement preferences
playback scene or sound effect preferences
EQ-related settings such as low, mid, and high gain
wet/dry mix settings
This information is stored locally using Apple system storage mechanisms such as UserDefaults and is not uploaded to our own servers by the App's current implementation.
If you purchase a subscription or lifetime access, the App uses Apple's StoreKit framework to request products, process purchases, restore purchases, and determine whether premium entitlements are active.
We do not collect or store your full payment card information. Payment processing, billing, subscription management, and related transaction data are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
The App may access limited transaction and entitlement information made available by Apple so it can:
unlock paid content or features
restore previous purchases
determine whether a subscription is currently active
display subscription status in the App
Based on the App's current implementation, the App does not intentionally collect or transmit the following to our own servers:
account registration data
profile information
contact lists
photos or camera content
microphone recordings
precise location data
advertising identifiers for tracking
analytics events sent to a third-party analytics SDK
The App also does not currently require login or account creation to use its main playback functionality.
The App includes built-in audio, rhythm, and MIDI-related resources that are loaded and played locally on the device. These resources are used to provide playback and rhythm functionality and are not personal information.
The App may provide system-level features that allow you to:
share the App using Apple's share sheet
leave a rating or review through Apple's in-app review prompt or App Store flow
If you use these features, your interaction is handled by Apple or the destination service you choose. Their privacy practices apply to that interaction.
Based on the App's current implementation, the App uses Apple-provided frameworks and services, including:
StoreKit for purchases, subscriptions, and restoring entitlements
Apple system UI for sharing and review prompts
Those services may process information according to Apple's own privacy documentation and terms.
Because most App data is stored locally on your device, retention generally depends on:
how long you keep the App installed
whether you clear device data
whether Apple retains purchase records under its own policies
If you delete the App, locally stored preference data may be removed from your device, subject to how iOS manages backups and local storage.
The App is designed so that most operational data remains on-device. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not directed to children in a way that intentionally collects personal information from them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App's current implementation.
If you use the App in different countries or regions, your use of Apple services such as purchases may be subject to Apple's regional systems, rules, and policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or business practices. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
