Kathryn Laster

Kathryn Laster is celebrating her 28th year as an educator. Before joining the Digital Learning Team at Region 10 ESC, Kathryn enjoyed 25 years in the classroom. While working as a math teacher, she also facilitated professional development, worked with new teachers and mentors, and served as a campus Instructional Specialist. As a Digital Learning Consultant, she assists teachers, schools, and districts across North Texas design instruction for the digital age. Kathryn is a Google for Education Certified Trainer, and she enjoys sharing ways for educators to help their students learn and succeed in a digital world.

Mason Mason

Mason is an Education Technology National Instructor at EdTechTeacher, Inc., a Google for Education Partner and an Ed.D. student at Southern Methodist University. He is a Google for Education Certified Educator Level 1 and Level 2 and a Google for Education Certified Trainer. He taught secondary English, Language Arts, and Reading in Dallas ISD and Plano ISD and was an Education Technology Instructional Coach in Garland ISD. Mason is passionate about helping educators transform teaching and learning through technology integration using the G Suite for Education.

Craig Klement

Craig works in a district that just went 1:1 with iPads as the Ready 1:1 Instructional Coach at Garland High School in Garland, Texas. He helps teachers transform the learning in their classrooms by implementing technology effectively. Craig is a Google for Education Certified Trainer and an Apple Teacher 2016. Sarah Fromhold

Sarah is a Digital Learning Coach in Frisco ISD. She serves two K-5 elementary campuses. Before becoming a Digital Learning Coach, she taught kindergarten for 11 years and 2nd grade for 3 years. She is a Level 1 Google Certified Educator, Apple Certified Teacher, and a Seesaw Ambassador.

Ashley Sonkin

Ashley is a Digital Learning Coach in Frisco ISD. She serves two K-5 elementary campuses. Before becoming a Digital Learning Coach, she taught grades 2-5 in Plano and Frisco ISD. She is a Level 1 and Level 2 Google Certified Educator, Seesaw Ambassador, Apple Certified Teacher, and a Recap Pioneer.

Martha Lackey

Martha Lackey has been in education for 28 years. She has taught 1st-3rd grade in Midlothian, Texas and Arlington, Texas. She graduated with a B. S. from the University of Texas in Arlington and has earned the Campus Technology Specialist Certification through the Texas Computers Educators Conference (TCEA) in Austin, Texas. She also serves on the steering committee for the ESL/ELL Academy for TCEA and was a key presenter for the academy. Martha also serves on the Ellis County Teacher Advisory Committee (ECTAC) in Waxahachie, Texas. She is a Level 1 Google Educator and was recognized by the The White House Initiative for Educational Excellence For Hispanics in 2015.

Kelli Justasson

Kelli is the AVID elective and ELA teacher in Burleson ISD. This is her 6th year teaching at the middle school level. In an effort to connect with her students, Kelli has embraced technology in the class.

Bethany Johnson

Bethany is a math teacher in Burleson ISD. This is her 4th year teaching at the middle school level. Bethany is always trying new and creative ways to bring math alive for her students.

Kelli Bowen

Kelli Bowen is an Instructional Technology Coach for the State College Area School District; serving the students and teachers of Mount Nittany Middle School in State College, PA. She is currently shaping and leading Mount Nittany Middle School’s strategy to advance student success through new and innovative technologies. The core of Kelli’s philosophy for student focused technology integration is the Four Cs, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. Notable projects include BreakoutEDU escape classrooms, design thinking challenges, creating innovative videos using green screen, and, of course, all things GAFE.


Jim Deeken

Jim is beginning his 27th year in education, the last 14 as a school counselor. This is year four of ADG (After Discovering Google). I have spent the last seven years at South Belton Middle School exploring the many ways technology can impact education. I have two college-age students and have been happily married for 27 years to a cancer survivor and a fantastic Speech and Language Pathologist.

Laura Deeken

Laura has been a Speech and Language Pathologist in the Belton School District for 23 years. She is a proud mom, cancer survivor, and has her own small web business providing tools to teachers for the past three years on Teacher Pay Teachers.
