Band Lessons

"Good Afternoon, Parents of GCS Elementary Band Students:

I wanted to touch base and check in during these crazy times to see how you all are holding up. I hope this finds you and your families safe and healthy. If I can be of any assistance to any of you, please do not hesitate to reach out and I will do what I can to help, or point you in the right direction.

If any of the band students would like one or more video lessons on their instrument while classes are not in session, please send me an email and we will make this happen. All they need is their instrument and some type of device that has a microphone and video camera (i.e. phone, computer, or tablet).

If they would like me to send sheet music for them to play, please let me know as well and I’ll email some your way.

Additionally, if any of you would like me to send you recommendations of music to listen to (of any type), online resources for students to stay engaged in music outside of school, or anything else, please let me know. I know several individuals and organizations are streaming live performances of all types on several social media platform, and I would strongly encourage you and the students to check these out.

Above all else, please stay safe and healthy, and let me know how I can be of assistance. Please feel free to reach out any time, and I mean that.
