1. What are Google Cloud Study Jams?
Study Jam sessions are designed around the Google-Qwiki Labs courses, with a weekly session following each lesson (4 lessons), plus two to three additional weeks for completing and sharing course final projects. Students/Professionals are expected to come to the Study Jam sessions having completed that week’s assignment or learning module through resources provided by the Study Jam Facilitators, so that the Study Jam time may be used to review key concepts, do hands-on labs and Q&A.
Study Jam sessions are led by facilitators who are professionals picked from the community. Once students/professionals attend all classes and finish the coursework, they will receive a completion badge and a certificate from GCDC - GDG Hyderabad.
2. I am good with GCP fundamentals, can I join the other sessions in later sessions?
Yes. But, we recommend you to join us for all the sessions so that the basics are covered again and to make sure everyone is on the same page.
3. Do I need to pay any amount to attend the sessions or event?
No. All of our events hosted under GDG Hyderabad are free and open to everyone.
4. What if I can’t attend session(s) in between?
One must attend 2 or more weekend sessions and complete the labs to receive the badge and a course certification.
5. Will the sessions get recorded and uploaded on youtube?
As of now, we don't have the required setup to record the sessions.
6. Can I speak at GDG Hyderabad event(s). if yes, Whom to contact?
Simple. Just drop us an email at "gdevghyd[at]gmail[dot]com" with your session proposal.
7. Can I walk-in directly to the session/event/study jam?
No. To attend an event one need to receive and official invite from GDG/GCDC HYDERABAD Team after submitting a registration form.
