BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
MAY, 1977 - Grace Christian Mission gained approval to operate an agricultural high school in Sto. Nino, Tanay, Rizal for the orphanage youth and students from neighboring mountain tribes.
MAY, 1979 - Friends in Badian and seaside barrios (villages) in Albay asked for help - they were desperately in need of a high school for their young people. Since no road came through the mountains to the barrios, the only way students could go to high school was by a boat to a larger town. During the six-month season for typhoons, the small boats from the barrios could not risk the ocean's big waves. June, 1980 - Grace Christian Mission Technical School (GCMTS) in Badian, Oas, Albat began in a rented house and a temporary classroom building.
MAY, 1984 - Grace Christian Mission Technical School in Sto. Nino, Tanay, Rizal moved to Boso-Boso Antipolo City. GCM's buildings in Sto. Nino had to be abandoned because of the government's Daraitan Dam project. September, 1985 - Government awarded Certificate of Recognition to GCMTS in Badian, Oas, Albay - Region V.
APRIL, 1986 - Government awarded Certificate of Recognition to Grace Christian Mission Technical School in Boso-Boso, Antipolo City - Region IV.
JUNE, 2003 - Grace Christian Mission Technical School stages development of its elementary school to meet educational needs created by severe over crowding of public elementary schools: Currently operating a complete elementary. In prior years, GCM provided kindergarten and preparatory classes for its orphans and other children from the community: these classes have been added to Grace Christian Mission Technical School elementary school.
