If you would like to add an event, please email calypsoconvention@gmail.com. Any event listed here is open to all OFMD fans!
The only official OFMD event on the GalaxyCon Columbus schedule besides photo ops & autographs is the OFMD Q&A panel. Everything else is organized by fans.
If you prefer a grid-style schedule over the one on the app and website, a fan made this one.

Pregame for drag show at Slammers next door. Lesbian/gay bar with amazing pizza. If you missed out on tickets to the show, stay there if it's fun and we'll come out at 10 to hang out there again!
There is also a fun bar very nearby called Pins Mechanical. It's pricey and not a gay bar but there is duckpin bowling and many other games (some free!) so that's a nice option in that area as well.

Columbus has so many amazing options for food. Below are just a fraction and all relatively close to the convention center.
An amazing space with multiple, tasty options for food. Great for groups and less than a ten minute walk from the convention center!
Some of our tastiest offerings. Katzinger's Deli, Schmidt's Sausage Haus (try the creampuffs!), Lindey's, Thurman Cafe - so many good options, and the neighborhood itself is wonderful.
Another great spot for groups as it has a plethora of food options, including booze and desserts.
Top notch sandwiches. Bigger than your head! Some say their cheese steak is comparable to Philly.
Build your own-style Mediterranean food
A charming retro bar with an incredible happy hour.
It's pierogis! And other Eastern European cuisine. What more could you ask for.
A top-rated restaurant in addition to some of our best local beer.
Delicious Peruvian style sandwiches.
Their shtick is hot dogs. DELICIOUS hot dogs.
Fox in the Snow - our most popular breakfast sandwich + tasty baked goods
Buckeye Donuts - open 24 hours! amazing donuts and great diner food; try the gyro breakfast sandwich and add a potato patty. Carry out is better than trying to eat inside.
Stauf's - great coffee, great noms, local institution
Hang Over Easy - great food and it's also a bar! plus it's on the edge of the OSU campus which is cool
"Columbus Style" pizza is thin crust with a square cut. If you've never had a chicken bacon ranch pizza, consider it!
Granddad's - quintessential Columbus style
Mikey's Late Night Slice - solid pizza that's very close to convention center (High and Vine location). Try the Unicorn Sauce! (RIP)
Borgata - New York style. Budd Dairy location is closest to convention center.
Adriatico's - tasty deep dish - an OSU classic!
Hounddog's - on this list for the Smokin' Joes crust!
Paulie Gee's - incredible Neopolitan style
Donato's - Donato's is a chain and is decent, but it's specifically a Columbus chain so onto the list it goes.
Meister's - Chicago deep dish. They also have a buffalo bacon chicken cheesy bread that will knock your stockings off.
Slammers - Not just a lesbian bar - their pizza is fab!
Downtown (where the convention center is) -
An interactive science museum! One of our most well-known attractions, and for good reason.
Our biggest art museum. Free on Sundays!
Not too far from downtown -
Absolutely gorgeous indoor and outdoor exhibits. Conservatory Aglow (their holiday light extravaganza) will be running during the con! Tickets are separate for that exhibition.
A historic, charming neighborhood with so much to do! Well-known for its cuisine as well as the Book Loft, a humongous, gorgeous independent bookstore worthy of Stede Bonnet.
Fine art and craft fair. Really beautiful stuff. Tickets are $7.
Far from downtown but super worth it -
An immersive art experience! Trippy art, secret passageways, mysteries to solve.
Truly a fantastic zoo experience. Their Wildlights exhibition will be live and is not a separate ticket from daily admission.
And finally...
A very strange art installation featuring a field of giant gray corn statues. Do I personally recommend driving 20+ minutes each way just to see this bizarre Midwestern spectacle? Not really. But that's for you to decide.
Goodale Park (0.2 mile), Bicentennial Park (1 mile), Topiary Park (1.5 mile), Scioto Audubon Metro Park (2.5 mile)
There are lots of other little parks around Downtown! These are just some of our biggies.
