We are excited to see your smiling, happy faces in-person this semester! Best of luck with all of your work, classwork and fun activities. Stay happy!
If face-to-face help is best for you, at this website, you can make out an appointment to meet with a tutor in person, or you can always just walk in when a tutor is avialable. The room is on the third floor of the Jesse Knight Building (east side), down a little hall. Room 3009G.
Off-campus when you need help? Busy somewhere else? Living in a pandemic? You can always call in to the GCC using this link. Please don't forget to still schedule an appointment thought using this website! We'll be using Zoom of course! Hope to see you there.
If you just need someone to explain the German Grammar to you. Here are some video lessons to help you.
Blue appointments are native speakers. Remember that all GCC times are in Mountain Daylight Time and that the weekly layout here starts with Monday instead of Sunday.
You will reserve 20 minute slots, but consultations last 15 minutes. However, you can stay longer if no one else is waiting and the consultant has no other business to take care of.
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments get first priority.
Please be aware that you can only cancel appointments up to two hours in advance. This helps us stay efficient!
Finally, if you MISS 2 appointments that you scheduled, your account will be deactivated. Once you have learned your lesson, email Professor Cindy Brewer (cindy_brewer@byu.edu) in an appropriately penitent tone and she will unlock your account :) You can also direct any other questions or concerns to her!
