Read Your Bible is a Bible verse memorization game published by GC-apps.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Read Your Bible mobile application.
1. Information we collect
When you use Read Your Bible, we may collect the following types of information:
- Account information: such as your email address when you create an account.
- Authentication information: used to let you sign in securely.
- App activity: such as your game progress, levels, stars, saved verses, playlists, and preferences.
- User-generated content: such as verses or playlists you save in the app.
- Device and technical data: such as crash reports or diagnostic information, when provided by Firebase or Google services.
If profile pictures are enabled in the app, we may also collect the profile image you choose to upload.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- create and manage your account;
- save and synchronize your progress;
- allow you to use the app across devices;
- store your saved verses and playlists;
- improve app stability and fix bugs;
- provide user support;
- protect the app from misuse or technical issues.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share or process data through trusted third-party services used to operate the app, including:
- Firebase Authentication;
- Firebase Firestore;
- Firebase Storage, if profile pictures or uploaded content are used;
- Firebase Crashlytics or analytics services, if enabled.
These services are provided by Google and are used to make the app work properly, securely, and reliably.
4. Children’s privacy
Read Your Bible may be used by children and families.
We do not knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information that should be deleted, please contact us.
5. Data security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data. Data transmitted between the app and our services is encrypted in transit.
However, no digital service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Account and data deletion
You can delete your account directly in the app by going to:
Settings > Delete account
When your account is deleted, we delete account-related data such as:
- your user profile;
- your saved progress;
- your saved verses;
- your playlists;
- account-related data stored in Firebase.
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by contacting us at:

Please send your request from the email address linked to your Read Your Bible account.
Some data may be retained temporarily if required for security, legal, or abuse-prevention purposes.
7. Data retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active or as long as necessary to provide the app’s features.
If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data unless retention is required for legal, security, or technical reasons.
8. Advertising
Read Your Bible does not currently contain advertising.
If advertising is added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before ads are enabled.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
