AVID III

The purpose of this AVID III is to empower 11^th grade scholars to achieve career discovery, college, and financial literacy/preparation as they prepare for their senior year. This course is designed to assist students in further development of their intellectual curiosity, sharpening of their reasoning skills, academic behaviors, problem solving and strategic intuition/decision-making skills. This course will further equip scholars with the ability to use data and technology effectively in a global economy. Scholars will be challenged to maintain academic integrity and emerge from this course as informed, financially literate and responsible citizen prepared for college and the work force. AVID III is the second part elective course that finalizes as well as assures students of college readiness and success through the lens of emotional intelligence, entrepreneurship, love language, and financial literacy.
