The process of trying to notify members of the ward regarding the Sacrament has revealed how much-needed contact info for members of our ward is either not available or is not current. In times of emergency, having up-to-date contact information is critical to maintaining good and timely communication. We recognize that some of you prefer to text while others prefer to email. We plan to communicate with the ward with a multi-pronged approach (email, text, Facebook). As needed, please check what contact information the church has for you and update your contact information.
How Do I Update My Contact Information?:
a. On Your Computer:
i. Sign into your account on churchofjesuschrist.org
ii. Under My Account, go to Account Settings
iii. You should now see your Personal Information. Use the links on the left to update your email, mobile phone, and password information
iv. Click Save
b. On Your Mobile Device:
i. Upload the LDS Tools app
ii. Go the Directory and click on your record
iii. Click the Edit button in the top right corner
iv. Update your email, mobile phone, and password information
v. Click Save in the top right corner
vi. To update your photo, click the Edit link under the picture box. Click Edit in the top right corner. Select from options to update your picture.
Since we don't have an email, a mobile number, and/or a photo for every member of our ward, will you please do the following:
a. Check LDS Tools and see if the families you have been assigned to minister to have contact information and/or a photo associated with their church account.
b. If they don't currently have contact information and/or a photo associated with their church account, will you
i. Deliver a copy of the Bishop's letter about the Sacrament to them? This is an opportunity for ministering. Perhaps you already email or text with them. If not, you can print off the letter and deliver it.
ii. Encourage them to update their contact information and/or photo? You can share these instructions with them or walk them through the process.
Thank you for your ministering efforts. In today’s church, we need updated contact information (including photos) to improve our ministering efforts, especially in times of emergency when face to face contact may be limited.

Brothers and Sisters –
With the general availability of sports and other recreational activities sponsored by our city and other groups, we are discontinuing our stake sponsored sporting program. However, we encourage the use of the basketball, pickle ball, and other facilities available within our buildings by wards, quorums, classes, and members for recreational activities. In using these facilities, we request that guidelines for using Church buildings are followed. These guidelines can be found in Handbook 2 21.2.
Sincerely,
Stake Presidency
