**Tips for those DRESS SELLERS Selling Dresses**
-This event is a fundraiser for the SW Booster Club and Student Council. There is a $5 NON-REFUNDABLE CASH FEE PER DRESS that will be collected at check-in.
-Drop off is Friday Jan 24th from 5-8 pm in the SW Commons.
-Pick up of your money/un-sold dresses Sat Jan___ from 2:30-3:30 pm.
-Know what you want to sell your dress for prior to check-in. You need to determine how willing you are to put the dress back into your closet if it doesn't sell due to a high price.
-We have found that dresses sell best when they are at least 50% off the price you initially paid for it (and not including any additional cost for your alterations). Dresses that are from the past 1-2 seasons sell best and for higher.
-FILL OUT THE GOOGLE WAIVER PRIOR TO THE SALE! https://docs.google.com/.../13ALVErjD62d2POw6NnmcqkP.../edit
-Once you enter the school, find the line that corresponds to the number of dresses you are selling.
-You must bring your dress on a hanger that can support it. Big ball gowns on a flimsy plastic hanger will not work. $2 Cost if hanger is needed.
-If your dress comes with a garment bag, it will be sold with the dress. It will be returned to you if the dress does not sell.
-Inspect your dress for rips, deodorant, make-up or spray tan stains, odors, etc! If your dress was not professionally cleaned after it was worn and is dirty or wrinkled, buyers may skip over it after they factor in the cost of dry cleaning.
-Do not tag your dress prior to the event, it will be cut off. You will be issued a sales tag at check-in.
-You will be given the bottom perforated part of the tag at check-in. This is your “receipt”. These must be brought in to collect your money/unsold dresses on Sat Jan __from 2:30-3:30 pm.
-Donated Dresses (SW keeps the sale money) are welcomed, but do need to be dropped off Friday Jan___ please.
