Established in memory of Eileen Gamble, a beloved GBS educator and department chair (1968–1978), this scholarship honors her extensive service and dedication to the school community.
Award Details & Selection:
The Award: A $500 scholarship is awarded annually to 2–4 students. The exact number of recipients is determined each year by the Parents Association Executive Council.
Selection Process: Recipients are chosen by the GBS Honors and Awards Committee.
Her Legacy: Honors Ms. Gamble’s widespread impact as chair of Girls' Physical Education and Health, administrative liaison to the Parents' Association, and student council advisor

Teaching & Support: Demonstrates deep subject knowledge, presents material engagingly, and provides meaningful support to students.
Community Impact: Actively contributes to the continuous growth and improvement of the GBS community.
Requirements: Must have 10+ years of service at GBS and be a first-time recipient.
The Award: Honorees are recognized at the May Honors and Awards Ceremony with a commemorative plaque and a $1,000 prize.
