Mission and Overview

We are a university-colocated team whose research focuses on the foundations of machine learning. We develop efficient algorithms that are practical, whose performance is accompanied by theoretical guarantees. Our team has initiated advances in

• Spectral state space models

• Adaptive gradient methods

• A theory of non-stochastic control 

• Machine learning for control of medical ventilation

We have collaborations throughout Google US, India, Israel and Europe.
