Guimaras Brethren Multi-purpose Cooperative (GBMPC) has started its mission in serving Guimarasnons in 2012. The GBMPC had strived hard to help the community back then.

The GBMPC has already proven its worth in serving Guimarasnons despite the challenges over the years. It has 3,231 members as of December 31, 2019, provincewide. Moreover, GBMPC gradually lifts its members through its current products and services such as savings, loans, life insurance, ticketing services, rentals, western union money transfer, ATM, and some sort of product marketing. Specifically, the cooperative is now assisting 1, 435 borrowers (as of July 2020) who usually are micro and small entrepreneurs.

GBMPC is categorize as medium cooperative with an asset size of PHP 37 million pesos.

The cooperative had received several awards such as Best Cooperative in Membership in the Province of Guimaras during COOP Month Celebration last November 2017 and as Youth Serving Cooperative from 2013 to 2018 during the National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO) Annual National MICOOP Forum.
