Highlights of 2023

What a remarkable year it has been! As I reflect on 2023, I am filled with gratitude for the experiences that enriched both my technical knowledge and personal growth. The journey took me to diverse corners of the world, creating memories that will linger as cherished milestones.
The journey took me to breathtaking places, from traversing the enchanting landscapes of the Cascades to embarking on exhilarating road trips. The year came full circle as I find myself writing this from my hometown in India, reminiscent of a similar beginning the previous year. The bittersweet expedition to Los Angeles became a turning point, where I found myself captivated by the allure of Griffith Observatory, and the City of Lights seemed to shine just for me.
The reopening of SR Hwy 20 paved the way for my inaugural visit to the North Cascades National Park, leaving me in awe of the majestic Liberty Bells at Washington Pass. From conquering peaks like Mailbox Peak to navigating the scenic Sahale Arm, the hiking season kicked off with a sense of accomplishment. The end of summer unfolded a picturesque Pacific Coast Highway road trip from San Francisco to Seattle, followed by an exploration of the captivating landscapes from Las Vegas to Phoenix and Southern Utah in the fall.
A week-long Thanksgiving retreat and the experience of working from Manhattan, New York hold a special place in my heart. The year concluded with a delightful loop around Olympic National Park before my flight back to India on December 12th.
