This is one of the first problem I had to work on in on of my classes "3D Tolerancing and Annotation" this problem was mainly about creating views and creating tolerances for the part once all views that were needed were created you needed to make captures one for each view and two more for all of the tolerances and one with none.
This one was the second problem I worked on this one was about creating tolerances as well but you also had to geometrical tolerancing as well onto the tolerancing that you already created but you also need to create all the views and captures as well.
This was problem number 3 this one took a lot longer then the other two due to the amount of tolerancing you will have to create 4 views front left right and top after those are created you can start working on the problem after put all of the tolerancing and annotations you will need to also add a couple of datums and geomatical tolerancing after those things are done you can add all of your captures just like all the others.
This was one of the first things I worked on this problem taught me how to put datums on the tolerances and parts once all tolerancing was on the part you need to go back and add datums at this time in the class we did not know views all that well so we did not have to do as many but we still need a front and side view.
This was on of the next problems I worked on this problem taught me how to tolerance parts and use tolerancing there were a lot of hard tolerancing with the views being hard to select and some faces were hard to select.
Since starting into to CAD 1 I have learned a lot including object lines, hidden lines, center lines and construction lines.
This was my first into to CAD 1 problem we were tasked to make a lot of lines and circle. We had to get used to the new controls and how the program worked, there were some new setting I have never used before. Some of those settings were like mid point this help me find the center of object a lot easier then have to do a little bit of math to figure that out. Another tool we used in this problem was the Tan, Tan, Tan tool this tool helps you put a circle tangent to 3 different objects or lines.
After we got used to these controls and slowly got a hold of the program we moved onto harder things and one of those things was dimension and arrays and also scaling. There were some problem with this assignment because when you array something into a pattern and don't click associated parts and turn that off, if you don't every sing object you pattern are the same part and you cant change anything about the first object you made that includes scaling as well.
The problem was a lot of fun to me the reason I like this program so much is because I felt like I knew every thing that was going into it. This problem consist of demission lines hidden l and object lines but the most challenging thing to do was the isometric view that was something I never had to do in auto CAD but once I learned how to draw one side of the object it was a breeze.
This was my first ever using architectural dimensions this one was pretty easy due to everything being squares pretty much but it was still hard because the was I had to type in the dimensions and still keep everything in line with everything.
The was the second time I got to use architectural dimensions this was a lot hard then the kitchen due to every door way having to line up and all of the lines you have to draw because you have to draw every line for the dry wall and the studs one of the hardest things to do on this one was drawing the toilet I could not figure out how to make it symmetrical with the other side.
This was one of my first times I have ever find true size the was a little different then some things I've done but I figured it out. With this assignment you had to draw a 45 degree line from the corner then draw some more lines to line up all the other points together.
This was another one just like the one above but the differences are we kept the lines and there were no triangle this one helped me remember how to find true size and helped me with short cut like pressing L to put a line down.
This was the first time I had to draw a shape but the catch with this one was I had to print these out and then fold them together and tape them together but the problem these I had to print them multiple times for trial and air to figure it out and in the end I figured it out.
