The Danger Zone

The Danger Zone is dedicated to Dr. Josh “Danger” Smith, celebrating 5 years of service at the University of Kentucky. Phrases and patterns in groupings of 5 can be found throughout the piece as a symbol of his time at the university. Dr. Smith’s name can be heard in the latter half of the piece, ultimately ending with “Doctor Joshua Danger Smith”. This piece is a fast and exciting ride filled with sirens and sounds of danger around every corner. 

This piece can be played with multiple drums or a single impact drum shared by the performers
