Gavin Milby (b.2001) is a Kentucky musician, composer, and educator. Gavin has taught students across Western and Central Kentucky in the areas of audition prep, chamber percussion, and marching percussion.

As a composer, Gavin's works have been performed by schools across Kentucky and Tennessee. Gavin's arrangements for solo xylophone and marimba quartet have become a staple in the University of Kentucky's Goodtime Ragtime Band. Recent premieres include Change for Percussion Quartet, Opening Fanfare for Trumpet Choir and Timpani, The Danger Zone for Percussion Quintet, and Hands Up, Hearts Open for Marimba and Vibraphone Duet. Gavin's marching arrangements have been performed in KMEA and MSBA circuits as well as non-competitive programs. 

Gavin received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education from the University of Kentucky. He studied percussion under James Campbell and Dr. Joshua Smith and composition with Juan Trigos. Gavin is affiliated with the Percussive Arts Society, Kentucky Percussion Society, Kentucky Music Educators Association, and Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity.
