I graduated from St. Anthony's College (BA-English), North Eastern Hill University (Master of Arts-English Literature), Shillong, and Dibrugarh University (Master of Library & Information Science and Bachelor of Education), Assam, India. 

I am currently pursuing a PhD at the Department of Library & Information Science, NEHU, Shillong under Professor Bikika Laloo Tariang. 

I have 14 years of professional experience. I am currently working at Assam Don Bosco University (Tapesia Gardens Campus) as an Academic Librarian & Head, Central Library. I am also an adjunct faculty member of the Department of English teaching Digital Humanities course, and I am a member of the Academic Council and member, Office of the Research Director at the university and Convenor, University Library Committee.  

I previously worked as an Assistant Professor & Head, in the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM), India. I have supervised 30+ Master's Dissertations (for Master of Library & Information Science) students. 

Research interests: Information Behaviour, Intellectual Property Rights, Reading Habits, Digital Access, Digital Humanities and Information Disorder. 

I am a freelance Library Consultant, advocate of Open Scholarship & Open Access Movement. I support digital equity.
