About me
Gaurav Kumar Pandey (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Silchar, Silchar, India. He received the M.Tech. degree in communication engineering from the National Institute of Technology Nagaland, Dimapur, India, in 2018. He is currently working as a scientific researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia.
Dr. Pandey is a recipient of a GATE Fellowship for pursuing a Ph.D. He received the Best Paper Awards from the IEEE SILCON 2023, IEEE ANTS 2023, and IEEE CICT 2024. He is serving as a reviewer in various IEEE journals, including IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking, and IEEE Communication Letters, and conferences, including the IEEE International Conference on Communications Workshops (ICC Workshops) and IEEE International Students’ Conference on Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Sciences. He has published the research works in high-impact-factor and Q1 journals, including IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, and IEEE Internet of Things Journal. His research interests include green communications, UAV communications, physical layer security, simultaneous transmitting and reflecting reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, and machine learning-based optimization techniques.
