Offering childcare, pet care, and household management

Although we are University of Florida students, this is NOT an official University of Florida activity.

Who are we?

We are a group of UF students (medical, dental, physician assistant, undergraduate and graduate) that want to help our UF health care workers who are serving our community during the COVID-19 outbreak.

What are the limitations?

This is a voluntary service and due to increased demand, we may only be able to fulfill up to 3 days per week for a maximum of two weeks. We want to help with every request but are facing a shortage of volunteers and available time as many students still have clinical and academic responsibilities.

Please note that this is not a professional childcare service and students may have to complete some online or remote work for their courses or clinical rotations while helping.

How does this work?

UF health care workers can submit a request below. After verification, each family will receive an email with the name and contact information for the assigned student(s). Students are assigned to a limited number of families and assignments are tracked in case someone becomes infected with COVID-19.

Please note that these are UF students volunteering to help. At this time we do not have the ability to complete background checks and only verify that they are current UF students.
