Introduction

Advanced Thermal Engineering Laboratory

The majority of the world’s energy sources are currently non-renewable, and most energy sources turn into a form of waste heat, resulting in inefficiencies of energy conversion and management. The vision of the Advanced Thermal Engineering Laboratory (ATE Lab.) is to reutilize the waste heat, therefore, improving the efficiency of the world’s current energy sources. Our team mainly investigates the heat and mass transfer mechanism, membrane-based thermal systems, absorption refrigeration systems, and boiling mechanisms on carbon nanocomposite-coated surfaces.
