Mission

Our mission at Friends of Gator CTSOs is to  foster leadership, personal growth, and real-world skills through financial support, community engagement, and advocacy. By working together, we aim to create opportunities that prepare our students for successful futures in their chosen careers. 

1. Fundraising and Financial Support

• Raise Funds: Generate sufficient funds to support CTSO activities, including competitions, workshops, conferences, and field trips.

• Provide Scholarships: Establish scholarships or financial assistance programs to help students participate in CTSO events who might otherwise be unable to afford it.

2. Enhance Educational Opportunities

• Professional Development: Support opportunities for students to engage in leadership training, career exploration, and professional development workshops.

3. Community and Parental Engagement

• Build Community Involvement: Increase community awareness and involvement in CTSO activities, fostering partnerships with local businesses and organizations.

• Parental Involvement: Encourage active participation from parents in booster club activities, meetings, and events.

4. Advocacy and Awareness

• Promote CTSOs: Raise awareness about the importance of CTSOs in preparing students for future careers and higher education.

5. Logistical and Administrative Support

• Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of CTSO-related events, such as competitions, fairs, and community service projects.

• Maintain Effective Communication: Establish clear and consistent communication channels with students, parents, and school staff.

6. Student Recognition and Awards

• Recognize Achievements: Establish awards or recognition programs to celebrate student accomplishments in CTSO activities and competitions.

• Highlight Success Stories: Share success stories of students and alumni to inspire current members and attract new participants.

7. Sustainability and Growth

• Ensure Long-Term Sustainability: Develop a strategic plan to ensure the long-term sustainability of the booster club, including leadership succession planning and financial stability.
