Group and team interaction research (GATIR)

UFV researchers across many departments are organizing an inter-disciplinary workshop on group and team interaction research (GATIR). The workshop is intended to be a fairly informal venue for the presentation of novel research on small group interaction.

We invite submissions of abstracts describing research in this area. Previously published work is welcome for submission. Submissions will undergo double-blind review, and accepted abstracts will be presented at the workshop. Student researchers are highly encouraged to submit.

We call for submissions of abstracts on group interaction research, including the following topics:

  • conversation analysis
  • group communication
  • team cohesion
  • sports psychology
  • organizational behaviour
  • strategic interaction
  • multi-agent systems and social simulations
  • problem-solving groups
  • natural language processing for conversations
  • dialogue systems
  • interactional linguistics
  • social psychology
  • intercultural group learning
